Long-standing associations with more than 25 leading financial and lending institutions in Lafayette and surrounding parishes provide the majority of the section's work.  These include a large bank, which the firm has represented since the 1930s, and a lending title insurance company for which the firm became the agent of record in the 1950s.  Through the decades, attorneys in the firm have negotiated billions of dollars in loans on behalf of clients and have been active in representing purchases in the multimillion dollar range.

A senior partner of the firm serves on the Board of Regents for the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.  Membership in each of these prestigious organizations is by invitation only.
